Meds+Sleep+Kiss= Great Getaway

I feel like im on top of the world this week. My Licensed-rx.com refill arrived sooner than expected and has got me sleeping like a baby the past 2 nights. This time I used my head and ordered more. The more I ordered the cheaper the price got, so it was sort of a no brainer.

Unbelievable that my girlfriend and I are going to an all expense paid trip to the Kiss concert at The Pearl Concert Theater, which is the best outdoor Concert hall in Nevada.
It's 2008, and who would have thought the Psycho Circus (as I still refer to them) is coming to town. What kid doesn't want to run away from home and join the Psycho Circus? I bought the Psycho Circus CD to prepare. I love that CD. It sounds like vintage KISS, straight outta the 70s, with songs like "I Pledge Allegiance to the State of Rock & Roll" and "Raise your Glasses." Paul kicks things off with the title track that was obviously made to be a show-opener: "You're in the psycho circus and I say welcome to the show." Ace proves he can still play guitar on "Into the Void" and Gene sounds particularly ominous on my favorite track, "Within."

I have decided to go with the Paul Stanley Look. My girlfriend will go as Gene simmons because she claims to like the his T.V show (which is hard to believe). We will probably spend several hours attempting to do it ourselves, or I heard you can pay $30 to have a professional do it there. How hard can it be?

Getting back to reality..

I haven’t posted since July due to some unfortunate circumstances. My Uncle passed away on August 8th and had to make the trip down to Phoenix for the funeral. Still here for the support but, man do I hate phoenix, I just cant see why people wanna move there and go through 115 degree heat. The crime is bad and I know people like to say it’s no different from anywhere else but it has to be.

During one of my attempts to sleep in the hotel I'm at, just outside my window I witnessed 2 young kids attempting to steal a car. I casually watched them eventually succeed in jimmying the door open. They didn't seem interested in the car itself, rather in the stereo. It was a 1992 Cutlass Supreme (they still exist), a big score for them I bet. I was on the 7th floor so there wasn’t much I could do besides screaming out the window. And yet for some reason I chose not to even attempt so much of an effort. Because I got called down here so quickly, I forgot my medication at home, so I had trouble sleeping when I was there because of that, the mattress, and just the general feeling of the death of my uncle. The hotel's wifi was on the fritz, so I didn't get a chance to get a refill on my licensed-rx.com prescription until I got home. I ended up getting some herbal sleep aid while I was here from some hippie shop, but it didn't really help.
But now that I'm home and back to my own sleeping domain, I'm able to sleep better now.
